Mason Studio returns to the DesignTO Festival for the sixth time with ‘The Invisible Tide: Awakening Unseen Forces’, an immersive sensory installation that reimagines the boundaries of perception through light, sound, scent, and touch. Hosted at the Mason Studio Cultural Hub, this unique journey invites visitors to explore the unseen forces that profoundly shape human emotions, thoughts, and behaviours.

The installation unfolds as a sensory odyssey, beginning with participants leaving behind their shoes and coats to step into a reflective pool of water. As they progress through the space, the interplay of shifting light, rhythmic soundscapes, evocative scents, and tactile sensations invites introspection and self-discovery. Drawing on principles of neuroarchitecture and sensory psychology, ‘The Invisible Tide’ bridges art, science, and design to create an unforgettable experience.

Conceived as both a personal and collective journey, ‘The Invisible Tide’ features collaborations with Othership, Mulvey and Banani, Seeing into the Unknown, and CBCB Fragrances, each contributing to the layered sensory narrative.
